One of our patients, Janet, has a very rare form of cancer. She was first diagnosed nearly 10 years ago, but early on, was lucky enough to qualify for a clinical trial. She has now lived longer than anyone else in the world with this type of disease. If she stops taking this medication, there is no question that her cancer will take her life.

Her out-of-pocket expense for this medication is $2,500 each month.

There is no denying that cancer is expensive. Even with a good job and health care.

In fact, medical bills are the number one cause of personal bankruptcy.

When finances are tight, people tend to put their fitness on the backburner. It is just one extra expense among a long list of other expenses.

This is why at Maple Tree, we offer all of our in-person our services free of charge.

We would never want limited finances to be the reason why someone does not adopt a healthy lifestyle.

It is just too important.

Our mission is to improve the quality of lives for individuals who battle cancer. We believe that the best way to do that is through exercise, healthy nutrition, and emotional support.

The demand for our services has never been higher. The number of hours we are currently spending on training patients is up more than 880% from this time last year.

Our hope is that we will continue to grow and serve more patients with each passing year. We believe that exercise should be a part of the national standard of oncology care. That every single person diagnosed with cancer have access to a Maple Tree program….All 17.7 million of them!

And for a dream this big, we can’t do it alone.

We need YOU to partner with us. Join us in this dream! Together, lets work to fight for those who need our help!

November 4 marks the beginning of our annual campaign week.

This year, we are hoping to raise at least $80,000. This money will directly benefit our patient programs. In fact, $0.96 of every dollar we collect directly benefits this programming.

This year, we need your help more than ever.

At one point over the summer, we had a waiting list of 176 patients. This increased demand for our services has exceeded the current funding we receive each month from our partner hospitals. However, we are committed to never turn any cancer survivor away. Therefore, we have taken on this patient load, with the hopes of raising the difference through our annual campaign.

This is why we need your help! Your gift, no matter how small, will help us continue to meet our high demand and serve our patients with excellence.

Please consider helping our organization this year!
