Today's recipe features 🍍+🍏
Pineapple’s have a high combination of fiber, potassium, vitamin C, and antioxidant content. This combination is especially beneficial for cardiovascular health! High potassium intake is associated with a reduced risk of stroke, protection against loss of muscle mass, preservation of bone mineral density, and can help lower blood pressure.
Try this refreshing pineapple apple smoothie
1 cup fresh pineapple or frozen pineapple chunks
1 small apple, cut
1 cup of plant-based milk (oat, almond)
Optional add in’s:
1 – 2 teaspoon honey
Chia seeds
Flax seeds
